What We Believe - Free Will Baptists |

The human race both collectively and individually is lost in sin and
without God.
We believe God hates sin and yet loves the sinner.
God loves you and wants you to get saved and have fellowship with him.
The Bible is the inerrant Word of God and the only Word of God. It is
all we need for faith and practice.
We believe in the Trinity - God the
Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Three Distinct Persons and yet of
one Essence and Substance - One God.
Jesus is the virgin born, sinless
Son of God, who was completely human yet completely divine.
Jesus died
on the Cross for your sins and as your Substitute.
We believe that a
person has a free will to choose or reject God's gift of salvation provided
through the death of Christ on the Cross.
You can be saved by grace
through faith without works. Yet after you are saved you will show your
salvation by good works.
We must confess our sins, repent of them, and
in faith ask God to save us.
Jesus died, was buried, rose from the
grave, now sits at the right hand of God in heaven, and is one day coming again
to set up a millennial kingdom.
We believe in a literal, physical,
visible 2nd coming.
We believe in a literal Heaven for God's people.
We believe in a literal Hell for those who reject Him.
We
believe in Free Will, Free Grace, and Free Salvation.
We believe in the
possibility of apostasy from the faith. |
